This may even be one of my favorite workout videos of all time. Our gym recently added a bunch of new equipment and I’ve had the best time getting familiar with all the new toys. It was seriously like Christmas for me when they were bringing in all the new machines. I noticed that they had left a pretty decent amount of space open at the front of the second floor. I was super excited when I was told that was where the turf would be going. And that we were getting turf for the new sled. I’ve been wanting to get my hands on a sled forever. Thankfully p, they put the turf in pretty quickly and I finally got my turn with the sled.
This sled weighs 103# plus the rope and a 45# plate. I don’t know for sure what the weight of the rope is, but I would guess it weighed more than 45#. I had very quickly tried to push the sled before they added the rope and was able to push quite easily it with 2-45# plates. This definitely felt heavier, although you would have to take the drag of the rope into consideration. Whatever the full weight that I was pulling and then pushing, this was an INSANELY challenging exercise. I was only able to do 2 sets of 5 reps. I had a guy come up to me and ask to try it out. He told me I was a beast and that he would never mess with me. I always love when I get that kind of feedback. I really pride myself on being strong and I work hard to get stronger with each and every workout.
