So I’ve decided to do a little mix up with the Sartorial Saturday post. As of now I’ve been including Saturday and Sunday as part of the next week and not the current week, which is starting to get a little confusing. While this works well for my Motivation Monday posts, in which the “week” runs Monday to Sunday, this has proven problematic for my Saturday post. So from here on out, the fashion week will run Saturday to Friday. That means I’ve got to do a couple of posts this week to get caught up. Hopefully, this will make it much easier for me to stay up to date.
Week of April 8-15
Anyone who knows me IRL knows that I’m really just a child stuck in a grown ups body and having kids has only seemed to bring this trait more to the forefront. This was the day that I took my kids to the mall for their annual Easter bunny picture. Of course, I had to ga an a pair of complimentary bunny ears for myself as well. After all, I also saw the Easter bunny we just don’t have photographic evidence of our encounter. So here I am in all my childlike splendor. My jeans are from Lane Bryant and my top is a perfect tee from LuLaRoe
And here’s a bonus pic because I think it’s so adorable when my kids pose with me. I am doing all of this for them, so they can have a role model who exudes self confidence. I never want them to hear me refer to myself in a negative way.
Week of April 15-21
This week’s picture is from our date night: dinner and walking around the mall with my hubby. It’s so nice to have time without our kids around and just get the chance to reconnect. I LOVE this dress fromTorrid. The bottom is so flowy and just gorgeous. I really felt elegant as my dress flowed around me. I had to pull out my fabulous wedges from Clarks shoes in order to not step on the bottom of my dress but they went perfect with the outfit.
