So I spent the beginning of this week recovering from a nasty case of strep throat, which means I really didn’t workout too much this week and the workouts I did were not a full intensity. It’s very hard for me not to workout, but I was so weak this week that I really had no choice. While working out is one of the most important parts of my daily routine, I have to know when it necessary to back off my avoid injury. That being said, I am back at it and looking forward to being 100% again soon.
I missed boxing this week and honestly didn’t even get off the couch that day. This week was the last week that my super awesome boxing instructor was teaching before she moves away, so I was particularly bummed to miss it. In order to get in one more class with her. I took the XIT kettlebell/TRX class. This was my first time taking the class and it was a challenge. We did three timed rounds where we took a basic combination of exercises and adds reps with each new round. This video was the hardest of the three rounds for sure and shows just the base that we then built upon.
