Since I spend so much time in the gym, it can be hard to keep things fresh. I need to mix things up in order to not get bored. I’ve shown many different variations of simple exercises such as squats, lunges, and jumping jacks to name a few. I’ve also found that I really enjoy compound moves that combine more than one exercise. It not only adds another level of difficulty but it usually helps raise your heart rate. This means a better calorie burn and you can hit more than one muscle group in a single exercise. This week’s move is a squat into a 90# cable row. I love anything that works both legs and arms. It’s always great when you can work arms and legs in one move. This one also uses a fair amount of core which makes it eveb better.
