It’s no secret that I workout A LOT. Most weeks I try to get in at least 6 days of intensive workouts and one lower impact active rest day, although I will take a second rest day if I feel I need one. Due to a brand new Werq class on the group fitness calendar on Mondays, Monday has become my SUPER workout day. Every Monday, I will do my normal hour long XIT boxing class and then head downstairs to do an hour of WERQ (a hip hop dance class). Today was the first time I attempted to do both back to back, and I’m proud to say that I made it through both classes with an AMAZING 1424 calories burned. I was definitely fading by the end of WERQ, but I’m optimistic that that will get better the more I do this. It was fun to push myself just a little bit harder than normal.
