Fitness Friday- up the difficulty level when you can’t up the weight

This is a pretty standard compound exercise using a kettle bell. You start with a sumo squat and then go straight into a high row. It’s a great move that is possible to do with heavier weights. I’m using the heaviest kettle bell available to me and was finding my heart rate was dropping too quickly during this particular move. Since there wasn’t a heavier kettle bell option, I had to come up with a modification that would make this move more challenging. Adding in a bosu ball is always a safe bet, so I flipped it over and did the exercise. The added challenge of maintaining my balance was just the added challenge that I needed. If this hasn’t worked, I would have probably added in a burpee or tuck jump between each rep to drive ,y heart rate up.
