Motivation Monday- no excuses, not even holidays

Since today was Christmas,  my Monday morning boxing class was cancelled.  I know most of the people from my class just enjoyed having a day off from the gym. I, however, knew my eating wouldn’t be as great due to the holiday so I needed to get my calorie burn on.  After opening presents and enjoying breakfast as a family,  I hopped on the treadmill for a mere 28 minutes.  Less than half an hour and I got a nice calorie  burn,  and didn’t feel guilty about indulging. It’s super easy to find excuses not to work out,  but I’ve never regretted getting in a workout when i can.  Staying fit is hard work and unless you commit completely you’ll never succeed.
