Our final round today was a Spartan round, which means we started with very low reps and added on an additional rep each time we started over. This is actually my second go through as I felt the first was just too quick. I made it through a total of 4 times so by the end I did 5 squats and deadlifts followed by 6 sets of spider pushups and alt KB Star touches. These types of rounds are even more challenging since you have to keep track of how many reps you’re supposed to do each time. All in all, I’m very glad I was able to show a full progression through a round. It takes a bit to figure out the best placement for your weights to help maintain a smooth flow.
And just for fun, I’m including a shot of all the different kettlebells that I used during class. The most important thing in this class is making sure you’re not lifting too heavy, so I wind up using a whole bunch of different kettlebell weights
