I regularly work our 5-6 days a week, which has become my norm due to years of following pretty much the same workout routines. As a result, there are many moves that I do over and over again. In order to keep getting benefits from reusing the same basic movements, it is necessary to mix it up a little each time so sometimes I go heavier and do less reps or lighter and do more reps. To make it an even bigger challenge, you can do these moves while balancing on one leg. This means that each of these predominantly arm exercises gains a pretty significant core component. You really have to hold your core tight to help you maintain your balance while executing the lift. The first video is shot while I was balancing on my weak leg, and you can really see what a struggle it is to balance. The other two are shot while balancing on my dominant leg and while I am more stable you can still see how much additional work is involved to maintain my balance. To further add to my difficulties, we focused on single leg deadlifts and leg press during my training session yesterday which means my legs were extra tired. This meant an extra challenging and rewarding workout though.
