Fitness Friday- Beast Mode Activated

Over the last few years, I’ve put most of my focus on increasing my strength instead of losing weight. It has been amazing to see just how strong I truly am. I very quickly discovered that I was especially strong when it come to the leg press, so I’ve been working very hard to get my numbers up. This week, I hit the goal I had set out for myself this year with a 1010 pound leg press. This was my 4th set and and I started at 730 pounds and added and additional 90 pounds each set (or 110 pounds for the last set to push me over 1000). I am beyond proud of myself for this accomplishment as I didn’t expect to reach 1000 so early into 2018. I am going to continue to push myself and am excited to see just how much weight I’ll be able to add before the end of the year.

As if that wasn’t enough of a workout, I then did these toe taps around the tractor tile. This really helped to elevate my heart rate and help me achieve more of a calorie burn for my workout. I really left this workout feeling like a beast.
