Power has never been a problem for me. In fact, I’ve come pretty close to breaking these mirrors with the bags on several occasions (mainly while kicking) which has resulted in the training placing dumbbells in between the bags and the mirror. With this bag, however, he just wanted us to lightly tap the bad with each front kick. This is a little bit harder for me, as I’m used to always going full out. Pulling back actually involves much for concentration for me. The dumbbell is still there as a precaution, but I feel like I really did a good job holding back. I often push myself to my limits so it’s always a nice break when I do something that focuses on form or technique instead of just power.
