I always try to get in at least 10 minutes of cardio before I lift, but with two small children I do run late sometimes. This is one of the workouts I pull out when I’ve got to warm-up quickly. I do 60 seconds of walking lunges at an incline followed by 30 seconds of sprinting. I usually repeat 3-5 times and it is an amazingly quick way to boost your heart rate without making yourself too tired for the rest of your workout. If I’m doing leg day, I tend to just walk at an incline so I have plenty of energy for a high intensity leg workout. These particular videos show me lunging at a 10 incline at a sped of 1.5 mph and sprinting at a 2 incline at 8 mph.
