Due to the holiday, there was no boxing class today but that didn’t mean no workout for me. I love that we’ve got a little mini gym in our basement for days when I don’t make it to the gym. Maintaining a rigid training scheduled is the key to my continued success at the gym over the last decade. First I ran 2 miles in 24 minutes, which is faster than I have been in a while. I also got in a bit of lifting to round off my workout. I love bench pressing as I feel like I have really good form and always makes me feel very strong. Taking the bar down far enough to graze my chest is the perfect range of motion. My wrist is still continuing to feel better every day, but it is still much better for me to do hammer curls than normal bicep curls. I was able to do 25# dumbbells today which is definitely an improvement over what I could do last week.
