I was a huge fan of Billy Blanks’ Taebo videos while I was in college. I had all the videos and would religiously do them during my down time. Taebo was one of the first workouts I did that was so much fun that it didn’t really feel like work and I got very into it. I’ve been known to randomly break out jumping kicks just for the hell of it. There was a period of time where that was honestly my party trick. Today in boxing class, we got to add jumping kicks into our rotation for the first time and I was so excited to do the move while actually kicking something. Up until now, I had never actually made contact with anything. It was more of just a cool looking trick move. Well let me tell you, this move is even more satisfying when you actually get to feel how much power is behind the cool move. So glad I had prepared myself so well for this moment.
