Battle ropes have been a really fun addition to our boxing routine. It’s been fun to try out all of the different variations, and today we got to take it to a whole new level with the bosu ball. In order to maintain your balance, you have to really use your core muscles. As a result, both of these exercises were a full body workout. Holding the squat was the leg component, balancing on the bosu took care of the core, and the ropes utilizes your upper body. I always love finding different moves that I can do on a bosu ball, because I love the added core component. I much prefer exercises like this to doing endless crunches.
