I am truly blessed that my gym offers such a great variety of classes. Since XSport added XIT, my weekly workout has gained so much variety. This is great, because I never get bored with going to the gym. When XIT first came to my gym, imsigned up for my free intro class and I was hooked. Each hour long class consists of three 15 minute circuits- treadmill, strength, and some type of conditioning (rower, ladder drills, steps, etc.). The workout changes every two weeks, so your body never really gets the chance to become used to any particular workout (or become overworked if any given routine is too challenging). I have been really impressed with how much my fitness level has improved since adding a weekly XIT class to my workout. This is also true of adding more XIT sessions, so I could add boxing and kettlebell to my weekly workout schedule. It’s easy to makes it to the gym when you’re constantly getting challenged in new ways. If I was doing the same stuff day in and day out, I would definitely find it a struggle to get into the gym regularly. Instead I regularly attend the gym 5 days a week and have for years and will for years to come.
These are the three circuits from our current XIT workout, which I tackled this morning. It was a lot harder than it looks and I’m feeling some soreness already. Tomorrow should be fun.
