Today’s workout was inspired by another trainer at our gym. She and her daughter do these crazy complicated workouts together and share the videos on FB. I decided to attempt one of the easier exercises included in their most recent set of videos. It’s a squat press paired with a squat tricep extension (arms & legs) done on top of a bosu ball, which activated the core to maintain your balance throughout. This move while it sort of looks simple definitely involves a lot more focus than I expected. It took a couple of attempts to find the right rhythm for doing not exercises back to back, but it was such a great feeling of accomplishment when I got it down. I did four sets of 10 reps each and my body was exhausted after that. Even though this was the only move I did at the gym today, my body felt like I had put it through many more exercises. I love finding a move that works as well as a whole circuit.
