So we’ve worked with the loose bag a couple of time before in boxing class, but usually we’re just told to punch it or move it across the floor. Today our instructor told us to give it everything we had and beat the crap out of it. So I did what any reasonable person would do and I embraced my aggression and unleaded my inner WWE wrestler. I’ve never done a flying elbow before, but let me tell you it was one of the most satisfying things I’ve ever done. This was actually my second attempt as my first time through shocked my instructor so much that he forgot to record. Once he was able to form words, he asked me to repeat it so he could get it on film. This is also one of the first times I’ve ever gathered an audience outside the windows of the XIT room as well as received a round of applause once the round was over. I was so intent on attacking the bag that I didn’t even notice until after I stopped my attack. I have been in the best mood all day and I really think it’s because I completely surrendered to my aggression and let it all out. It’s so amazing to truly give everything you’ve got, especially if it sort of terrifies other people.
