Motivation Monday- adds on help add to your calorie burn

Our second week of XIT fell on Halloween this week, so our instructor added some special Halloween add-ons to make it a bit more challenging. We had to do either 31 jumping jacks or 31 butt kicks in between each exercise.

The first few additional rounds felt great, but those 31 reps added up quickly. I was wearing my bodybuilder Halloween costume and the bra I had on was not the most supportive. Let me tell you, DO NOT do great numbers of jumping jacks in a crappy sports bra. My pecs still hurt 5 days later. If you ever feel like you’re not getting the calorie burn you’d like, adding in a set of jumping jacks or butt kicks is a great way to give your calorie burn a bit of a boost.
