Happy New Year!!! I took a week off of blogging and working out just after Christmas through the New Year. This was due to traveling to AZ to visit my parents, which resulted in me picking up a nasty cough that I’m still dealing with. But I am back in action in the gym and here on the blog, although I am being careful not to push myself too hard. Today was my first Monday morning boxing class in two weeks and boy did i need to get back to hitting the bags. This is a full round of bags with the accompanying conditioning exercises. Today, we made it through 5 rounds with some cardio blasts in between each round and a round of abs to finish off. As you can tell, we squeeze a lot into the hour long class, but I always feel so amazing afterwards. It’s so important to find workouts that not only push you, but that you enjoy.
