Motivation Monday- strong core strong body

I spend a lot of time in the gym and have seen great improvements in my strength over time just by repeating the same movements over and over again. I’ve noticed however that when I make sure to get in core work, it ends up adding to my overall strength. In order to lift heavy with some exercises, you need to have a strong core to accomplish the heavier weights. I like when we do abs in boxing, because we do more than just crunches or sit-ups. It keeps it from getting boring and makes sure that we work our obliques as well. My abs are going to feel pretty sore for the next 24-48 hours, but it’s a necessary pain to continue on my path to getting stronger.
